Posters are a key component of communicating your science and an important element in a successful scientific career. Posters should be considered a snapshot of your work intended to engage colleagues in a dialog about the work or if you are not present, to be a summary that will encourage the reader to want to learn more. Many a lifelong collaboration has begun in front of a poster board.

 

Format

Phase 1 :

 

• Your idea must be sent to acumen2k16poster@gmail.com

• The subject of the mail should strictly be ""POSTER PRESENTATION"" - Title of POSTER"

• The last date for submission of paper is 20 - Feb -2016. Extended upto 28 - Feb - 2016.

• Selected ideas will be intimated through mail on or before 29 - Feb -2016 / 01 - Mar - 2016.

• Choose any one of the problem statement that you have found out, prepare a solution for it and send us the abstracts of your solutions

 

Contents of the Abstract should include:

 

• Title of the Idea    

• Description of the problem statements

• Methodology/results/limitations/conclusion

 

Phase 2:

CONFIRMATION OF PARTICIPATION

• If your idea is selected, Confirm your Participation on or before 02 - Mar - 2016.

• If not confirmed, your participation will be rejected.

 

Phase 3 :     

• The shortlisted teams will be intimated through mail

• Selected participants must bring their poster at the time of the event.

 

Rules

•  The poster must contain your name and college name.

•  Maximum 2 participants per team is allowed.

•  The poster size is restricted to (32x40 )inches size.

•  Photographs may be used in addition to other illustration. Figures may be in colour.

•  All materials must be prepared (PRINTED) and “Poster ready” in advance of arriving at the Symposium. Printers will not be  provided.
